Side Event: Tuesday, October 20 – 12:45-14:15
Call for Papers – First Announcement
Description
Extension, technology transfer, outreach, knowledge transfer and
science application are terms that have one thing in common: providing
old and new knowledge to those who can use it to improve their
individual, family and community well-being. This may involve conveying
highly technical science findings to non-science audiences, engaging
participants in peer-to-peer learning opportunities, providing
information to broad sectors of society, or working with the media
to deliver information in ways that readers and listeners find
useful.
This Side Event will comprise a series of presentations followed
by a discussion period focused on participant questions, comments,
and experiences.
